It’s across from Heffe Tacos and near Lebanese market/restaurant Suraya, Cheu Fishtown, and the upcoming Nunu from the Cheu team, and close to a Lululemon and a City Fitness, in case you want to work off the calories from eating along the Frankford Ave. Poe’s Sandwich Joint, which will cater to a takeout crowd only, is setting up shop at 1429 Marlborough Street in Fishtown, where Marlborough and Frankford Avenue meet. Poe tells the magazine, “It’s going to be munchies food.” The casual eatery will focus on sandwiches, including egg sandwiches in the morning and cheesesteaks at night, reports Victor Fiorillo at Philadelphia.
